We aim to be one of the largest, most ethical cannabis production companies in Africa, with a mix of our own greenhouse and extractions facilities together with an inclusive cultivation co-operation model that supports job creation, rural economic development and economic transformation of small commercial rural farmers.
We are focused on leveraging the international skills and experience of the leadership team with the natural advantages, skills and existing infrastructure of Southern Africa, to become a profitable, regional cannabis company making a world of difference, by empowering local indigenous farmers.
LOW RISK IMPLEMENTATION STRATEGY The AfriCannabis roll-out strategy is a low risk, phased strategy which allows financial risk to be mitigated, while ensuring that implementation of our vision is as rapid as required to capitalise on the market opportunities.
The bulk of the farms to be acquired by AfriCannabis are going concerns with existing management, customers and established revenue streams. The conversion to cannabis will be a phased approach based on license approvals, infrastructure upgrade (low capex) and market opportunities. Initially three separate but complimentary farms, located within 20km from each other will be purchased, allowing diversification of license and cultivation risk.
The farms can be converted to cannabis quickly, or over a period of time depending on market conditions and opportunities. a leading extraction plant that is modular, will be implemented, with the intention to expand in line with increased demand.
The AfriCannabis vision is based on owning the initial cultivation farms, while establishing cooperative out-grower relationships to leverage and empower the local small scale and rural farmers. This will allow rapid production scalability with minimal capital investment.
This business plan is not only focused on South Africa (although this is the initial focus) but has a sub-Saharan vision which mitigates country risk.
